AI delegation became muscle memory

I've gotten so used to handing annoying things off to AI that apparently it's becoming muscle memory.

Today I needed to break down a cardboard box. I looked at it, decided it was annoying enough that something else should do it, and physically moved my hand like I was handing the task off.

There was, of course, nothing there to hand it to.

My brain has apparently adjusted to having agents faster than the physical world has.

Has anybody else caught themselves trying to hand off a task that was actually right in front of them?
