AI makes great anonymized candidate profiles possible at scale
Something I always wanted to do at Commerce Hero was create really cool anonymized candidate profiles.
Not just a resume with the names removed. A profile that still felt like a real person: a clear story, relevant experience, some visual identity, and enough context for the right company to want an introduction.
Doing that well for every candidate would have taken a ridiculous amount of manual work.
This is one of those things that's just possible now with AI.
Matchbook can turn someone's career history into a polished profile, keep their identity and employer history private, and even give them a distinct visual presence without using their actual photo.
It's cool seeing an idea I had back then finally become practical.
