Working with AI agents, the hard part isn't the tools. It's that you have to rewire your entire brain.

It's not just the instinct to read all the code. Claude hands me a two-page response and my gut says read every line and really understand it.

That feels like diligence. It's the thing holding me back now.

If there are five parts and one seems off, just reply to that one. Ask why it did it that way. It holds all the other context for you.

The partial response is usually higher-leverage, and it frees you to jump back to another thread running in parallel.
